Authorized Capital
The maximum amount of share capital that a company is legally allowed to issue to its shareholders.
It is specified in the company's memorandum. If a company wants to issue more shares than its authorized capital, it must first increase this limit through an AGM and regulatory approval. It's the company's 'credit limit' – exceed it and you need a special meeting with the family (AGM) to beg for more!

कम्पनीले कानूनतः आफ्ना शेयरधनीलाई जारी गर्न पाउने अधिकतम पुँजी।
यो कम्पनीको प्रबन्धपत्रमा तोकिएको हुन्छ। यदि कम्पनीले यो सीमाभन्दा बढी शेयर जारी गर्न चाहेमा साधारण सभाबाट निर्णय गराएर सीमा बढाउनुपर्छ। यो कम्पनीको 'क्रेडिट लिमिट' हो – नाघ्यो भने परिवार (AGM) सँग विशेष बैठक बसेर थप माग्नुपर्छ!
