Closed-Ended Fund
A mutual fund with a fixed amount of units and a fixed life (usually 7-10 years).
These are traded on NEPSE like ordinary shares. Once the time (maturity) is over, the fund is closed, and all investors get their money back based on the final NAV. It's a 'fixed-term deposit in fund form' – trade it like shares, but at the end everyone gets their principal (sort of)!

निश्चित समय (प्रायः ७ देखि १० वर्ष) र निश्चित संख्यामा इकाइहरू हुने म्युचुअल फण्ड।
यो नेप्सेमा साधारण शेयर जस्तै किनबेच हुन्छ। यसको अवधि सकिएपछि सबै लगानीकर्तालाई उनीहरूको पैसा फिर्ता गरिन्छ। यो 'निश्चित अवधिको डिपोजिट फण्ड रूप' हो – शेयर जस्तै कारोबार गर, तर अन्तमा सबैलाई साउँ (कुनै न कुनै रूपमा) फिर्ता!
