Market Cap
The total value of a company. (Total Shares × Current Market Price).
Market Cap tells you how 'big' a company is compared to others. Larger companies (Blue Chips) are usually considered safer but might grow slower than tiny companies. It's the 'size tag' on the company – big cap means big and steady, small cap means nimble but wobbly!
