P/E Ratio
Price to Earnings Ratio. It tells you how much you are paying for every Rs. 1 of profit the company makes.
Generally, a lower P/E (below 20) means the share might be cheap, and a very high P/E (above 50) means it might be expensive or overvalued. It's the 'how many rupees per rupee of profit' price tag – low is bargain, sky-high is 'hope and hype'!

यसले १ रुपैयाँ कमाउन लगानीकर्ताले कति रुपैयाँ तिरिरहेका छन् भन्ने बुझाउँछ। थोरै पी.ई भएको शेयरलाई लगानीको लागि सस्तो मानिन्छ। यो 'प्रति रुपैयाँ नाफाको कति रुपैयाँ' मूल्य ट्याग हो – कम भने सस्तो, आकाश उच्च भने 'आशा र हाइप'!
