The study of past price patterns and volume using charts to predict future price moves.
Technical analysts don't care about the business much; they focus on 'Supply and Demand' shown through candles, lines, and indicators. It's reading the market's tea leaves (or candlesticks) – patterns today predict tomorrow's party or panic!
